Description: A key part of being able to support students’ learning is having the tools to understand it. It’s hard to know what your students need if you’re wondering whether they have “kind of” learned the content, “mostly” learned it, or “really” learned it. The ECRIF framework offers a lens for identifying specific and clear stages of student learning as well as a variety of strategies for adaptively helping students to progress. This workshop will provide participants with an introduction to the ECRIF framework, examples of its implementation in adult education contexts, and hands-on practice integrating ECRIF into their lessons.
